I bet people will walk past the try-on counter at the Apple store like this.

I'll be broadcasting the delivery/unboxing and eventual return to my local Apple store on Periscope. I'll berate the delivery person as though the wait is completely his/her fault. Then, I'll unbox it and show the world how to set it up and inform them how this is Apple's most personal device yet. Next, I'll enter the address to my local Apple store on my new watch and chart my path, turn by turn to said destination. I'll then hand it over to the Genius and ask them for my money back. Not because I hate the watch, but because I can.

Just kidding about the return. I've waited too long to get this on my hot little wrist.

Gonna take the Sport I ordered and put it in the box of the Edition I ordered, then return it. Then I'll have a $17k watch for $350.

I am going to walk in to the Apple Store with one of the watches I ordered unopened and hold it up while saying very loudly that I had an extra one I ordered and don't need it. Then I am going to watch the mayhem ensue!!! Lol

My big plan before pre-orders began was to ship to store, pick it up there, then grab an Auntie Anne's pretzel at the mall (they're a big treat for me and I only eat 3 or so a year). Then I was going to head over to the gym and try out the fitness app for the first time.

But Apple didn't want people coming to their store for the watch so...

I'll pick it up at UPS after work, drive to the mall, probably walk around the Apple Store aimlessly while checking my watch for no reason, get my dang pretzel then go to the gym. Take that, Angela! She stopped ship to store specifically so I couldn't have my pretzel.

Seriously, I've been dreaming about watch day for more than half a year. I had it all planned out. Why did they decide no shipping to store???

Now I want a pretzel! Thanks for putting that thought into my head. It all makes sense! It is Apple's evil scheme to kill Aunt Anne's pretzel sales so they can keep buttery fingerprints off of their products. Now that is EVIL!!!! Lol

Friday is my gym day. I will be off to test the exercise app and get credit for rowing. Gotta fill all my circles the first day!

I think the first thing I'll do is remove a few links, since I got the space black link bracelet! Fitting it to my wrist will probably be job #1, before turning it on and pairing it to my phone. :)

Simple. Unbox it and start charging it while I set it up. It'll probably take me a good 30 minutes to set it up the way I want it (watch faces, notification filtering, getting a hang of installed third party apps, and just play with it while charging). By then it'll probably be close to 80% or maybe even 100%. Then it's off to the gym then back to get back to work.

Okay so the courier arrives and you sign for the watch (seems to take forever to sign my name when it's for something I have been waiting this long for). You open the package and there is the gorgeous box. You take a few moment to admire the packaging before carefully opening it (in the normal Apple way) and there is your beautiful watch! You marvel at its beauty, you try it on for size. It looks amazing ....

Now what? Will you pair it with your phone right away and play with it, or will you do what probably 'should' be done, and fully charge it first?

Why not charge it first! Especially if it already has 50% Battery Life and they estimate chatrgeing a full battery to be less then and hour and a half you looking a a very short time of charging which can translate into more time for watch play! Or I could set it up, and then while it's charging do my set-up with the watch on the phone!

And once all is good to go, immediately start asking friends who has their watch so we can message through it
