What's the little circle on the 13 MBP?

Above the escape key there's a little circle drain thingy. I was wondering if that's the speaker or the microphone or the ambient light sensor?

there's plenty of "dur" threads on here but we're here to help, that's what the forum is for

The ambient light sensor is right next to the iSight. Try and put your finger over it

Exactly. The question itself isn't stupid, as we don't know the OP's situation. Maybe he doesn't have the manual? Or maybe he thought about googling or did it but found different answers and came here to know for sure? We're here to help people, I know there was no intention of being mean but these guys that just come and post things like "duur, its bla bla bla, how did you not know" sometimes bother me more than trolls

It's the drain. That's how you change the oil.
