People buying macs for the brand name and not knowing how to use them.. Gives us all a bad image. I have tons of friends that got a Mac after me and come to me asking for help all the time. Out of these, I've only had a couple problems that took me more than a minute to fix. Most people just don't try to troubleshoot for themselves, they just ask someone else to do it for them, frustrating..

I feel your pain.

I will only work or "clean" there computer, if they come and clean my apartment. Tell you, it slowed down on computers coming my way for stupid reasons.

Great idea. Maybe I should start getting something in return for all the work I do.. Never really though about asking for anything haha but I guess I deserve it. I've saved some people on multiple occasions

Haven't had a issue with this personally but many people complain about the fact that mac does not support as much software and that it's a closed system which can really limit the user, pretty much makes you dependent on Apple for everything. Also it would be nice if Apple would legally allow their OS to be installed on other hardware but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Yep, here we have another throwaway, pointless thread. Lots and LOTS of bored people online = lots and LOTS of stupid and pointless threads.

This can happen regardless of the make. Seems like the biggest issue some Apple products users have is the need to identify they use the product.

Those who say this probably only own one apple device and most likely don't know how to use them properly.

Example:
Droid/windows user: I gotta fix my phone/laptop
Apple user: Gotta go to the Apple store and get my macbook pro/iPhone fixed.

Funny how I don't say "My Mac" but "My computer". I don't feel the need to say that it is an Apple branded computer.

But I've been using Macs for 11 years, so it's not just to be cool ;)
