What's the most reliable mac you've ever owned?

My IIci. Nearly 20 years old and still going. Simply amazing.

12" Powerbook G4 FTW!!! It still runs really well, I gave it to my little sister after reinstalling 10.4.11. She drops it all the time but the HDD still works and aside from a few big dents it's perfect. Thank god for aluminum, if it were one of those plastic PCs it would have shattered all over the concrete driveway last summer. Sometimes when I'm seeing myself in the mirror masquerading as a screen on my MBP I miss it.

Hands down that would be my PowerMac G5 Dual CPU 2.0.

I bought it in June of '05, and I've never had so much as a kernel panic on the beast. And I've done a LOT on that machine over the years. At times I wish I could upgrade the graphics card (AGP 🙁), but other than that the thing is still as fast as ever. Of course anymore the graphics card doesn't bother me too much as my pc gaming days are behind me for the most part. At least until StarCraft II comes out, and then I'll be whining about graphics again. 😉

Second place goes to my mac mini CD 1.66. I bought that in September of '06 and it hasn't given me a single problem either. I no longer use it for my office, so it's been connected to my TV for the last 18 months.

My CD Mac mini. Lasted me two years without a single problem. Only died because of my own actions. (Though I think my eMac will end up being the most reliable, we'll see in a few years.)

On subject, probably my MBP in the sig down there, I am almost praying for a problem so I can get me a "Uni"... 😀
