Trainers

I think it must be my Converse trainers that i bought 4 years ago, and have worn about twice. I think i've given them away to my brother now.

I expect i've had a lot of clothes that seemed like a good idea at the time.

$1 DVD at Walmart double feature called Hercules and the Masked Rider and Hercules and the Tyrants of Babylon. It was a gag gift type thing. The picture on the front was hilarious, and the summaries on the movies on the back had horrible misspellings. Additionally, we couldn't tell if it was dubbed in english or if was just the fact that the audio never seemed to line up with the video very well.

OH MY GOD.

I have that!

I wanted some good big headphones a while back and right before I got some I was looking at some ones that said they were wireless.

Now I thought, woa wireless is always better so I will get them.

It turns out that I never use them because I need to plug them in and they need to be near the huge base.

The Nike+ iPod kit. I bought one last year and never used it. Then shortly after, I sold my iPod nano to buy a touch.

OH MY GOD.

Are you kidding me! Haha now we can have a discussion. Like why is it called Hercules when he is such a minor character? Actually I don't think I finished watching the movie but from what I saw he was just some guy that always had his shirt off, never talked, and smiled constantly. Dom Ramero!

My friend tried to burn it in a campfire but luckly my other friend was able to save it.

Since that we've purchased the $1 "Nanna's Cottage The Great Hamlet Mystery" DVD which includes 3 educational & fun filled episodes. We have yet to watch it but I cannot wait.

I would not call it "useless", but...

...it was a Powerbook G4.

There were a few other things which I regretted buying, however nothing as expensive as the PB and thus got eclipsed in comparison.

With the PB, I think it is a case of the wrong choice. All along I had been using various flavours of Windows and as much as I get frustrated with various nagging issues, I am fairly comfortable in using it. I started my liking towards the usability (and design) aspects of Apple years ago and finally broke down and bought the PB.

And just could not adapt.

Mainly, I was frustrated by the lackluster scrolling behavior (it was very jerky in 10.3,9), no real full screen mode etc etc. There were a few other things too (the usual rants we hear occasionally), and I realized that it is just not the right choice for me. I am a person who likes to explore every option of my devices and the trade-off of super-simplicity instead of more function seemed limiting to my nature.

Long story short, I sold the (immaculately well kept) PB to somebody at school whom I hope it'll serve better. To this date, I limit myself to watching Apple's innovations and continue the (perpetual?) wait for that ultimate form-with-function devices! :)

I didn't actually spend money on it, but I did make a trade for it...

To be honest...

I know many would disagree - and feel free to. This is just my perspective.

I'd say this skateboard ramp I bought when i was 12-13. It's this plastic ramp, really high quality and durable, but i was just not that good at skateboarding and it was quite expensive (OVER $100!!!). I used it when i BMX biked for a little but i really should have seized the opportunity to sell it when a kid offered me $50 for it! I was nuts to say no, now it just sits in my garage

It's neat but not nearly as much as pictures of it would lead you to believe. I rarely think to use it. All told it cost about $200 Canadian after taxes+shipping+customs.

I guess my Sony PSP could qualify as well. I had a good time hacking it but I haven't touched it in about 6 months.

My last windows computer :D

That and my lucky golden poo

Impulse purchases mostly. Especially when it comes to books. I went and bought Michael Crichton's book Next three months ago and it's still sitting on my desk. Need to read it...

i was really really close to buying a new digital camera at best buy 2 days ago. I asked the salesman if they would match amazon's price, he said, "if they had a brick and mortar store, we would". So, i decided to sleep on it. As it turns out, the camera I wanted (canon sd870) doesn't do manual photos...

I was about to lose $300

A themed wedding bridesmaid dress, the wedding got cancelled.
dress could not be. had to be custom made for me.
Since it is for a Chinese wedding, I can't even wear it somewhere else.
