what's the retina display like for non-retina stuff?

what do apps look like / graphics when running on a retina display if they are pre-retina applications?


what about youtube videos? is the video blurry?

in particular what does a windows vm look full screen? (scaled)

Not sure about the ones you mention, but PDFs in Adobe Reader look TERRIBLE! Scanned pages are fuzzy and hard to read. Preview doesn't have this issue though.

umm disagree here - PDFs look great to me.
