What's up with the old favorite Mroogle?

I'm getting a page saying: "Forbidden
You are not allowed to access this web page or it has been disabled for Terms of Service violations"
when I tray and do a search.

    Has it been taken down?

I think it's being worked on by the developer. At least, I know that he's aware of the problem.

    MRoogle down?
You can work around it by adding this to any Google search: site:forums.macrumors.com

    Thanks,

I wouldn't have re-posted the topic if I could have found that it had been already been mentioned by searching with Mroogle! ;)

    Mroogle down?

I haven't been able to access that site recently. Is it down for anyone else?

    Yep, all around the world.

As GGJ says add site:forums.macrumors.com to your search and you'll get a result.

I think people do use it but it's not self explanatory enough for new forum users.
Most of the questions I asked when I first joined the forum could have been answered by mroogle but it took me a while before I found out what it was.

I've used it quite a lot since then and miss it now it's down.

I'm sure e wouldn't mind fixing the problem if it doesn't take much time, but if he doesn't, who are we to say anything? We still have MR's search feature, and it's usually good enough for those people who actually bother to search
