Ok this is very confusing.

When I add my live.ca account on my iphone with exchange, I do not see any "notes" tab under settings, I see mail, contacts, calendar.

But when I add gmail theres notes... and for some strange reason my old notes from another iphone (which I want) are attached to this gmail account if I disable them under settings my notes dissappear.. I re-enable them the reappear. How on earth do I save these notes independently?

I hate it when I have to answer my own questions.

so basically I had to create the same account gmail on mail app on my mbp, then u will see the notes in the inbox. I just cut n paste those notes into my other email account that I normally use a live.ca account and it seems that although theres no "notes" button setting for exchange account on iphone, I think I have safely disassociated the notes with the account I seldom ever use.
