What the hell kind of argument is that? So lets do this: Take away Halo, Gears, and (other 360 exclusive of your choice) and what does the 360 have going for it? We can sit here all day and negate the good parts of each console claiming that it proves our point, but it doesnt.
Btw, the ps3 would still have Killzone 2, Uncharted, and Ratchet and Clank, as well as a huge lineup in 2009.

I'm not disagreeing to a certain extent, but exclusives are usually what sells systems. I'll be honest, if I have a choice between 360 and PS3 on a multi-platform title, I go with 360. And you're right, there are other good titles like Uncharted and R&C, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I could care less about Killzone 2.

Please don't misunderstand. I want the PS3 to succeed. Heck, the better each respective console does, the better it is for us gamers. I've been playing for nearly 3 decades now, and there has never been a better time to be a gamer than right now. The amount of innovation coming out of all 3 camps plus the myriad 3rd party developers is downright staggering.

1. No
Take away LBP, R2 and MGS (aside from the multi-platform titles) and what does the PS3 have? Not a whole lot from where I'm sitting.

Take away a gaming console games and what do you have? Thats like saying "take away the internet and what does a computer have"

The PS3 has quality titles all around and although the majority don't interest you doesn't mean they aren't there. That "no games" argument is very old and doesn't work anymore because the games are there.

On topic: OP there's Pixel Junk Monsters coming and others mention already coming to the PSP...DS library is much better than the PSP but he PSP is still holding.

Bless

eventually each console/handheld has it's draughts
for me personally the DS had one of a few months just until march where yet again a whole pile of games sneaked up:

henry hatsworth (i can't believe this is from EA ... )
GTA:CW
Valkyrie Profile
Suidoken Tierkreis
Military history commander Europe at War (hex +turn based ww2 strategy games ? ... good old hardcore games .. oh how do i miss that genre)

i ddint take myy time to read the rest of the posts but im assuming hes asking if there will be another psp, i remember reading somewhre that sony hasnt made any plans to devolop a psp 2 yet .i wonder if they ever will

I'm interested to see how Rock Band will work on the PSP. Maybe they'll do what Guitar Hero did with the DS?

Well, a lot of people argue that 360 ports are better. They occasionally sport higher resolutions, better AA, better online play. Though that tide seems to be turning now.

thats what the want you to think!

The PSP stills has a lot of life left in it, hardware is still quite modern(for a handheld)...surely there is room for more great games, so no rush. I'll look into buying a PSP-4000 if it comes out, right now the 2000/3000 isn't worth it(for me, yet...although if I start playing mine more, who knows!)

Rumor has it that a psp2 is in the works. But its just a rumor of course. If the psp2 has ps2backward compatibility (big 'if') ill buy it on day 1. They should just make a dual core EE chip, which would be great for several reasons:

• Dev's can use their existing ps2 engines to develop psp2 games meaning that devs can jump right into programming for something they already know and have worked on the past 9 years.

• Ps2 games can be run native. Dedicate one 333mhz EE core to run the ps2 game like an actual ps2, then use the other 333mhz core to emulate whatever else might need to be emulated. I assume they can cram the ps2's gfx and audio stuff in a psp case. The ps2 slim is really tiny when you take out the hdd bay and dvd drive.

• Moar power, lower power consumption.

It'd be great to see some more ports from the original PS2 to a more capable PSP. I'd buy it just to play some of the classics that I so dearly loved on the PS2. Just need dual analogues! xD
