What's with no box sets on macOS TV App?

I was checking the TV app on my MacBook to see if there were any bargain TV show box sets, and it doesn't show any! There only appears to be the option to buy individual seasons.

However, if I mosey over to my iPhone and check out the iTunes Store, box sets of the same shows are shown, considerably cheaper than buying individual seasons.

What gives?

Install iTunes to check pricing. This is what I did on my MacBook running Big Sur.

If it’s anything like the ATV app on iPhone then you just need to do a couple of extra steps to show the boxsets option.
Game of Thrones for example open the listing then scroll down to How To Watch

Select the Buy Seasons under the ATV option

As you can see under Season 1 it shows 3 versions, open that one then you should see the complete boxset.

Thanks. I already have GoT, so I can't try that.

That cranky selection mechanism, once you know about it, does work with Deadwood.

But it doesn't work with Borgen. On my iPhone I can buy Borgen the complete series for half the price of this lot on the MacBook.

I really hope they don’t do away with the iTunes Store app on iOS or even the Movies and TV shows apps on ATV.
For buying I don’t like the ATV app at all.
