This is how I feel. Yesterday I had to turn off almost everything just to get better usage. I need a full day of use!!

I refuse to turn anything off. I want it all. WiFi, Bluetooth, Location Services, Siri, EVERYTHING. If the phone can't last me 16 hours, then I'm getting a Mophie Juice Pack....

Do yourself a favor and turn Battery Percentage off.

This is EXACTLY what I did.
I found myself staring at the battery percentage when I use my phone. I felt like it went down much faster with the Percentage on, Then when It's not there.

what is the weirder is that when my phone is on 99%, i will plug it up and it says 100%.

i think that entails a software issue, more than a battery issue.

also, lets not forget that after a month's use, the battery will have reached its maximum potential. all these early gripes are a little premature

That's like turning the stereo up in my car to drown out problems with my car so I can't hear them.

No. It's like turning the Battery Percentage off so you realize you're getting good battery life regardless of what your percentage reads.

This morning I charged my 4s from 12% to 100%.
It stayed plugged in for 6min at 100% and when I went to unplug it the batt was showing 96%. ????

Unplugged then plugged it back in and 8min later it hit 100%.

Holding a charge today unlike the last 48hrs.

Go figure.

I though doing this was of no effect with lithium batteries?

Draining to 0% is tough. Don't won't to hit 0% when I'm out and need it.

I've drained every phone (3G, 3GS, 4, and 4S) as soon as I got them at least once. It usually improves my battery life substantially. I used to drain them at least once a month but found it very difficult to do with the iPhone 4 so I only ever did it like three or four times throughout the life of the phone. I've never had battery issues. First day of 4S was kinda rough battery-wise, but a full drain and overnight charge fixed everything. Also, I read that doing it this way was the best. I spent a lot of time reading up on the forums and Apple's site back when I got my 3G.
