Happened yesterday with High by the Beach by Lana Del Rey, and today it's happening with fka twigs new EP.

Those new releases are immediately available for streaming on Spotify but only for purchase on iTunes store. then later on, it shows up for streaming on Apple Music.

I assume they do this to get people to purchase? So annoying..

Do you need to listen to it the minute it comes out?

"Need" is probably the wrong word. But do we WANT to listen to music the minute it comes out? Of course. You follow your favorite band, see ads and receive emails up to the release date, and yes, you want to listen to it the moment it comes out.

Now if the band has an agreement with another music service, or just overall decides not to be on Apple Music right away, that's one thing. But if it's not appearing on Apple Music because something is buggy with Apple Music, then I think you have a right to be irritated. Most of us pay for streaming music services because we don't want to buy albums outright--we want to enjoy them when they come out on our favorite streaming service. We should be able to expect them to be there, barring the points mentioned above.
