My Iphone's brightness is always around 70%. Will battery life be improved by alot if I would be on constant 50% instead?

What's your brightness at?

here's mine.

Mine is somewhere around 40%...maybe slightly lower. It is still bright enough to see even in the harshest light.

When I'm in a theatre or another place where I'm supposed to turn off my cell phone, I often lower the brightness to 0% so that I can use it without it being (too much of) a distraction.

I used to have it at 20%, but over time I've gotten lax and it's crept up to about 40%.

More than that and the battery suffers too much. It does make a difference.

(I wish they'd put 25%, 50%, and 75% markers on that line, btw.)

Here's an idea set yours at 50% and see.

Why would you ask when you can simply see for yourself?

Oddly enough, mine has to stay on a higher setting than my wifes to be as bright.

Full during the day, half in the evening, or when I desperately need to conserve battery, and minimum in darkness.

Mine stays dead center. I've ran it lower and I can still see if but i have to strain. I've ran it at 100% and it just plain hurts my eyes.

15% with Auto Brightness ON.

I don't need it to blind me and the extra battery life goes a long way :)

100%.

Doesn't have that much of an impact on battery for me - I charge my phone every night anyway or so anyway.

I actually USE my phone, so 15-20% to save battery. 0% at night.

Yeah so do I.

Hours of on the web (bus rides) and then texting, phone calls throughout the day.

If you charge every night (or roughly once every two days) then 100% brightness will be fine..
