I wanted a case that didn't add much bulk but still provided a good level of protection. I picked up an Incase Slider for the 4S. I had one for my old 3GS and loved it. For the 4, i stuck with the free Griffin Reveal Etch I got from the Apple free Case program.

I use an Otterbox Defender as well, although without the belt holster. I work in a machine shop so I want all the protection I can get.

I'm going with the Escape Capsule. I might add the silicone from the Griffin Extreme or something.

I want to be able to use my iPhone at the beach, in the water, in the rain, hiking/camping, or in the desert. I know that I abuse my electronics.
