Wow and to think that EVO will be useless by 2011 if sprint switches over to LTE like the rumors about Clear. But i guess if Wi-max is backward comptable with with LTE its all good then eh?

"Backward compatible"? There's nothing backward about it. They are 2 totally different protocols.

Sprint is also hinting that they may use both.

i'm using a sony ericsson w350. 'nuff said. :)

this will be my first iPhone

i had a touch until about 6 months ago, when i knocked off the bathroom counter right into the toilet. it was mortifying :(

the iPhone will allow me to finally merge my devices, i like the idea of carrying only one

I'm getting one because it's I can afford one :D. All that aside, I currently have a Nokia E63 and it's just better in every way. I like the fact that I can sync all of the information I need for my family in once place and keep it on the go.

new design
faster than my 3G
looks great
video natively (no stupid slooooow apps)
camera flash
better camera
latest and greatest :)D)

the 3GS was not worth the extra like 300 bucks it would have cost me (i got my 3g used so i wouldn't have to be in contract, and it was about $400 while 3gs's were about $700+)

mobile hotspot, and I'll say it, Verizon version. Since the rumors that the nexus one and the droid might be getting free mobile hotspots instead of paid after the 2.2 update, it would be a hard decision to switch if it came to Verizon.
