I don't know how you guys deal with music as your ringtones. I can never hear them ring if I'm any kind of distance from my phone.

I only seem to hear/notice ringtones that are "different" from what would be naturally going on around. Since we already have music playing then music won't draw my attention.

I've got a few actual ringing ringtones that I use. Has anyone found any others I should look at? I'm getting kind of tired of the ones I have.

Default: Pavement - Half A Canyon
Wife: Belle & Sebastian - Scooby Driver
Daughter: The New Pr0nographers - Chump Change

If I may be so bold... Check out AutoRingtone. You create your own custom talking Caller ID ringtones using TEXT-TO-SPEECH and dozens of voices, plus you can use 100+ sound FX to 'get your attention' before the message is spoken. Should do the trick. And we have several free versions, but PRO is on sale for $0.99 and in the Top 10 in Business!

Current: "Message In A Bottle" - The Police

"Back to the Hotel" - N 2 Deep (had this as default in a prior phone)

"867-5309/Jenny" - Tommy Tutone

Back in the day when my first gen iPhone was JB, I had several ringstones and video ringtones. Had the video ringtone of "Viva La Vida" from Coldplay for awhile to match the Apple ads.

CTU ringtone from 24

My favorite ringtone. Only problem is it's becoming very popular, I now hear it everywhere and think my phone's ringing.
