  • Work Day:
  • Wake up
  • Check iPhone and clear all notifications/badges, run updates if available.
  • Open Safari in iPhone and search for porn and AirPlay it to my bedroom Apple TV.
  • Take care of business. :D
  • Poop, shave, shower, get dressed.
  • Let my dog out to pee & poop and refresh her water and food bowls for the day.
  • Eat breakfast (or lunch, depending on what shift I work that day).
  • Drive to work.
  • Go to costuming and hair/makeup (I'm a performer at Disney).
  • Do my show sets and scheduled parades.
  • Check Facebook, Twitter, MacRumors, Email, and text messages during all of my breaks.
  • End of shift: get in car and drive back home.
  • Feed dog and then take her for a walk.
  • Watch some TV, get on the computer to read some of my favorite blogs, more porn, etc.
  • Play one of my audiobooks on the Audible app until I...
  • Go to sleep.

  • Non-Work Day:
  • Sleep in until whenever I wake up or my dog wakes me up because she needs to be let out.
  • Check iPhone and clear all notifications/badges, run available updates.
  • Search for porn, AirPlay it, take care of business.
  • Take dog out for a walk and feed it.
  • Feed myself.
  • Do general cleaning around the house and laundry.
  • Shower and get dressed.
  • Get my weekly haircut.
  • Have my car washed.
  • Go to liquor store.
  • Go home and make plans with my roommate and/or friends.
  • Go out and socialize and drink a lot of vodka.
  • Depart the company of my friends.
  • While I'm still out and about, hop on Grindr or any of the other gay "dating" apps.
  • Find the nearest willing participant within a ten-mile radius.
  • Meet up with that random person and make some magic happen.
  • Part ways with that person.
  • On the drive home, stop at some drive thru and order something greasy to soak up the vodka.
  • Arrive home, let the dog go out and do her business.
  • Get in bed with my laptop and watch people do filthy things on live cams until I...
  • Pass out.

Work day:

7:00 - Alarm (in the form of radio switching on)
7:30 - Time to get up
7:40 - Actually get up, have shower etc
8:00 - Yell at wife "you've got 30 mins to leave and you are still in bed!"
8:10 - Breakfast, make coffee
8:30 - Catch train, read emails and check web.
9:10 - Arrive at work
All day - Do lawyery type stuff
19:00 - Leave work (good day)
19:45 - Get home (good day)
20:00 - Dinner (good day)
20:30 - Chatting, TV, computer etc (good day)
23:00 - Bed (good day)
21:00 or later - Leave work (bad day)

That's the issue with my job. If things are quiet I leave roughly 7pm (give or take 30 mins) which leaves time for dinner at home, chat with wife, watching TV etc. If there's something big on I may go a whole week not leaving work until after 9pm, sometimes as late as midnight.

Weekend is very flexible. We go away a lot to see family and friends, sometimes have errands to run, sometimes meet friends for dinner etc. No real routine there.

It depends on the show but they average out to 20-25 minutes each, and I perform anywhere from 6 to 9 shows a day. Right now it's Christmas season so we work longer hours due to the special events that take place this time of year at the Disney Parks. The parade route is 28 minutes from one end of the park to the other (those floats move very slowly) but it can run longer if the parade includes any stops that allow for interaction with park guests.

The most time-consuming part of my work routine is getting from the employee parking lot to the station where I clock-in. I first have to park in this HUGE employee parking lot and walk several blocks to a security checkpoint. I show my company ID, allow my bag to be checked for anything that might be deemed a threat, and board a bus that will then drive me half a mile to the mouth of the tunnel (there is an intricate tunnel system beneath the Magic Kingdom Park). Once I'm in the tunnel, I have to go to the wardrobe department and get in line and wait to scan out my undergarments (basic black gym shorts and white v-neck t-shirts that we wear underneath our costumes), go into the locker room and change clothes, walk several blocks to the cosmetology department AND THEN I get to clock-in and I'm officially "on the clock". At the end of my shift, I clock out as soon as I do my last show or parade and then I have to repeat the same steps in reverse while off the clock. -- In my opinion, we should start getting paid from the moment we pass the security checkpoint and hop on that bus but that's never gonna happen. Otherwise, I have no complaints about my job.

"Sleep in until whenever I wake up or my dog wakes me"

Never understood what "sleep in" meant. As opposed to?
As opposed to getting up before you want to obviously.

I like taking my time in the morning, so:

6:15/6:20 - Get up
6:20-6:30 - Breakfast
6:30-7:00 - Screw around online - Google Reader, check emails
7:00-7:15 - Shower, shave, etc.
7:15-7:20 - Get dressed
7:20 - Drive to work (18 miles)
7:45-7:55 - Arrive at work, depending on traffic and actual departure time
then-12:30/1 - Hit up some Google Reader, do some actual work (depending on project load and day, sometimes a ton of work)
12:30/1-1:15/1:45 - Lunch. Either quick lunch and hide in my car to read a book, go out to lunch, or lunch in and read some blogs
1:15/1:45-5:00 - Work
5ish-6:00 - Commute home
6:00-10:30/12 - Let dogs out, make dinner, sometimes work out, sometimes have hockey games to ref, waste hours online, go to bed between 10:30-12 depending on all that

Sometimes work until 5:30, think 6 once when @#%! hit the fan. Wednesdays are usually 7:30-4:30, so bump up the wake up and return by 30ish. Fridays are 7:30 starts, but unfortunately usually go longer due to hokey week end 'wrap' meetings that always go long, but at least booze is involved, so it's bearable.

It varies way too much. There is no consistency with my timetable at the moment.

Monday: Usually up at 6am to get to lectures by 9. Done by midday unless I stay to work in the library. If I have time I go home for a couple of hours then drive into work at 6pm. Finish at 10.

Tuesday always my day off from lectures, I'll wake up about 6 anyway, get in a workout then check my trading account. Usually have a decent breakfast and read something with Bloomberg tv on in the background. I do the school run then get some work done till I go into work late afternoon. Again, back late evening.

Wednesday I'm usually shattered from two long days so I'll wake up about 8, again do the school run then fit in a workout. Afterwards the days mine to do with what I will. Normally this is my trading day, I'll keep an eye on a couple of positions and get some work done. After I've picked the siblings up from school, in the evening I'll go out for dinner or to see a movie with friends.

Thursday I get to sleep in till about 8. I'll workout then prepare for my tutorials then head into university. I'll get in by 5pm then do whatever.

Friday is a **** day. I'm up at 6am, then I have lectures and tutorials until lunch time. Then I'm at work until like 10pm

Weekends are blank. I do whatever I want.

Everyone's routines seem a little more exciting than mine!

I'll try and sleep until about 2 or 3pm, then I get up and take my girlfriend to work. Then I'll slowly take my time getting a shower and brushing my teeth and stuff like that. Then usually my son and I will go to the store and grab things we need and something to eat. He usually goes to sleep around 8pm. Then I'll get my lounch box around for work (I'm a security guard at Chef Boyardee in PA). At 9:30 pm I'll give the baby monitor to our babysitter and head off to work, I'll get home around 6:30 am and if my girlfriend and son are already up I'll spend time with them for an hour or 2, and repeat the process.
