Top 3 apps you can't live without.

Top 3 apps missing you would love to have (hint hint programmers)

Unlike most I use the real apps so much more than 3rd party apps but hope the sdk produces some real useful additions. I have no problem paying a few bucks for usefull add ons so bring em on =)

Can't live without: Stocks/ Email / Web -gotta have my news fix 24/7
Would love to have: Real GPS / Finger print scan instead of slide to unlock / App that auto changes my background daily to those I have saved.

Added a poll for fun, feel free to answer!

Looking forward to seeing some games, and innovative apps that no-one has yet thought-of/made public - I'm sure they'll appear.

I think the standard of current 'unoffcial' native apps is high, but hope that Apple police that to maintain a high standard - maybe two catagories 'unapproved' and 'Approved by Apple', so users can determine the level of quality assurance they are prepared to go with.

if the quality is allowed to be too variable, then buyers would be put off.

Whatever, I'm sure exciting times are ahead!

I'm not too bothered about new apps, I just want add-ons that could be done with software upgrades like landscape SMS and mail, cut and paste etc.

Would love an mms app though.

1) An eBook reader that will let you download large text files to the iPhone to read.

2) Some form of Notes sync (or a substitute).

Things I'd like to see.

1. A better MS Exchange connector
2. MMS
3. MMS

Has anyone heard any updates about the Swirily MMS app. They say on their site that by the end of January they would release a new version of the software which would receive MMS messages. It's now the end of February and still no app....

it'd be nice to have some more games...i have Bejeweled (3rd party) but that's about it... an Arkanoid-type game would be great

I really hope that there is a promo every week like they are doing with rentals. So if they are 5 at max and every once a week they reduce it to 3 or even 2.

SpamSeive for the mail app

I use SpamSieve on my desktop, and then use IMAP to sync my phone and Mail.app. When I keep my computer running, SpamSieve properly handles all the spam, so my iPhone only has clean messages on it (as long as the Mac checks the email before the iPhone). It works quite well in most situations.

1 parallels

That'll never happen, at least with the current processor in the iPhone.

Does iphone have Ichat? SKYPE?

No.

Desperately want:

1. Copy/paste
2. Sync Notes
3. Flash support
4. Horizontal keyboard in every app
5. Ability to make distribution lists so that I can send one text message to one group or team of people.
6. Video recording with ability to sync.

AT&T doesn't have any choice in the matter. I heard there is a working test version in the UK, I think its locked to one of thier providers at the moment. Not sure of all the details but search for it if your interested.
