The Valley!!
I was just sitting here suffering from my insomnia when it occurred to me that Myriad Pro is my favorite font. SO what's your's? If any? any special reason's why?

Chicago for its historical significance to MacOS (and early iPods). ;)

In the post-Chicago era, just about any font that doesn't crash SecurityServer or cause apps to choke.

I like the air of authority and classic endurance of Times New Roman, but my personal favourites are Garamond - a lovely, clear, elegant and classy 18th century font, and Arno, which is also clear, elegant and deceptively understated, but rather lovely to look at and to read.

Cheers

I am a huge fan of Walbaum and Frutiger. I like the standard Helvetica nue and such, but for me in the end it's Walbaum. For things like iChat I've been using Stone Sans Sem ITC. It's a nice well rounded font but I've yet to see it in print.

^ Actually, that is not all that boring and it is a free alternative to some fonts that you need to pay for such as Walbaum.

The font that I use most often is Arial. Why? Because it is a very clean and simple font that I got into a habit of using. Habits are difficult to break. I use it as my default font in every program. Usually at a size of "8."

Haha i was just reading a thread that said comic sans ms should be banned lol

Go to BanComicSans.com to find out.

Nueva Std is my favourite, nice and fresh, but also Century Gothic, Bradley Hand ITC and Courier New are nice.

The Helvetica family is my favorite. Myriad pro is what illustrator defaults to I think, I hate it :p

I love Helvetica. It's classic, timeless, nicely formed, even, balanced.. it's just great all the way around and is equally suited to headlines or copy.

If I was forced to choose a more stylish font, I'm currently loving Kozuka Gothic Pro, Vegur (free) and Museo/Museo Sans (also free). Serif fonts are hard to find, but Day Roman is a favourite also. I'd love Riven, if it weren't for that blasted "V" :(

I've always liked Swis721 from my BeOS days. I'm a big fan of Marker Felt. Apparently I'm the only one.

Just got done using Museo Sans for a project not too long ago.

Ah, mais non, I totally love Marker Felt. I use it to leave myself notes in large type. like "Pay the ATT bill you jerk" in hot pink on my desktop.

Otherwise I mostly use Helvetica. Courier new for monofont.
