With the iPhone 5 around the corner, my favorite parts about the release (besides having the actual phone itself) are:

- Camping out in line with my Macbook filled with movies and socializing with other iPhone fans.

- Getting on these forums and seeing the huge influx of posts. The forums just feel so alive and buzzing with chock full of info and stories.

- Being apart of history and able to tell it to my future grand kids. 20 years from now, they will be teaching kids case studies of the long lines generated for Apple product releases.

I can't wait!

All the stupid ass "omg my phone has a light leak" and "omg my screen is yellow" threads that follow. :D

Maybe waiting for the first generation iPhone can be considered "being a part of History", but waiting for the 5th generation of the same device, I don't that counts anymore.

LOL....Man, you need to get out more.

My favorite thing is to watch the keynote and see the device revealed. I then proceed to order and then watch tech news and forums to see the buzz and keep myself hyped and informed until I get it!

I'm not a camp out at the store person... a little over the top for my taste.

Laughing at people who actually wait in line for 8+ hours while I patiently wait for mine to come in the post.

First, the announcement. Second, waiting in line for at least 15 hours (making it at least 24 for iPhone 5). Then, Buying the device and walking out the door to see the massive line again.

My least favorite part, people asking me if they can see the new iPhone, that they always know I have first.

I like reading the posts saying ,anyone seen a jailbreak option for my iphone 5

Seeing the amount of iphone 4's being flooded onto the net for sale while im sat here with my new iphone 4 and 5 !

The 'what apps do you have on your ip5, and whats your battery life like , oh and the whole scenarios of 'what have you tweaked to save battery life'

Then theres the 'the iphone 5 sucks' threads.

Lastly the ' what case and shield do you have for your iphone 5' threads.

I dont like the look of my bank account balance the day after buying the phone ! .....lol :D

I like the "I'm not buying this, it's not good enough, Apple has cheated us" threads, soon followed by the "I got the new iPhone, OMG it's the best phone ever" by the same person.

These threads are my favorite as well, and it doesn't just apply to the iPhone.
