What's Your Favorite TV Commercial of All-Time?

So in the spirit of Superbowl Sunday, what's your favorite television commercial of all time?

It doesn't necessarily have to be a Superbowl ad, it can be any TV commercial from any period of time aired anywhere in the world.

Please resist the urge to skew towards Apple commercials, since given the nature of the forum, I'm sure there will be a lot of people who like "1984" "Mac vs PC" etc, etc :)

um.. YEAH, it's true. :p patience IS a virtue.


:D i actually work in an office (a few different ones over the years) and would LOVE to be able to have this guy come into MY office just ONE time!!
 
I love the Career Builder ones with the monkeys, especially the one with the monkey sitting on the copier with his pants down. That's just comedic gold (yes, I have the sense of humor of a 7 year old). And I've always loved chimpanzees, they're so cute and funny. Except for the chimpanzee running this country, but I digress.


I also found the VW Unpimp My Ride commercials to be funny (and I'm not saying that because I have a GTI, I loved them when they first came out almost 2 years before I even thought about buying one ;))
 
Easy. The original "1984" Mac ad. I've never seen a better ad, in any media.
 
Those Rozerem adverts with the dream characters following restless people around are quite clever.
 
I saw this rerun of a hilarious political ad on CNN yesterday in a documentary. It was a cartoon of these politicians, and a civilian asked one of them why the Boston Big Dig was $12 Billion, and when the politicians began to explain, their heads instantly went up their asses. It was hilarious, and I'm trying to find it on YouTube....

I remember when that one first aired - it was really cool.

Of course, if you watch CSPAN, you can see this all day long... :D

Showing my age now, but the old smash Mash ad's had to be the most naff ads on TV but so funny, especially at the end when they started laughing............

It's funny that breweries - probably the only folks who need absolutely no help selling their product to eager males everywhere - are the ones that put so much effort into creating likable commercials.

I mean, they could just air 15 seconds spots with black helvetica type reading "Beer: Drink Some" and they'd get people to buy. The big budget, glossy, start packed commercials they decide to air is just gravy...
