Wow the 2006 x5355 (8 core) is faster than the 2009 2.93 quad? Kewl!

So - did the test again.

GT120 : 56 STRAIGHT !
285GTX : 205

Perhaps the 285GTX is influencing the results slightly for the GT120?... In other words, is there some issue with the benchmark when two cards are installed in the same system? If you are really motivated, perhaps try pulling the GTX and re-running the bench with just the GT120?

I suspect the OpenCL bench really benefits from added parallelism above all else (since it's really designed for the dozens or even hundreds of cores in a GPU)... most GPU's run at a fraction of the clock speed (500-800MHz) of our CPU's but that doesn't seem to impact their ability to process OpenCL code effectively.
