The BBC - turn on my Mac, open Safari and I get a brief glance at what's happening in the world. Suits me fine!

:)

For a long time I actually had it set at macrumors, but I've switched to the Netscape browser, so my homepage is by default, http://netscape.aol.com

And to be honest, I love it. Great little bits of news, a few polls and quizzes, I spend the first five minutes of my browsing there. :)

I used to go to MSN, but then when I switched to a Mac, I started using apple.com/startpage for a while, but then I made a custom iGoogle, which is great for you because you don't want news, and it's pretty if you use the city theme.

However, about two weeks ago, I switched to CNN.com (set to the International edition, not the US. much better.)
