Finally I have arrived.....
I like a fresh salad with grilled chicken or sea food with low fat dressing (or no dressing if chicken or sea food is seasoned). When I am with friends, I end up ordering a chicken salad while my friends are ordering pasta loaded with cheese and meat or pizza.

A seafood based dinner, Japanese style.

Some sashimi, sushi, cooked fish, miso soup, rice, etc.

Then again, a good grilled steak also would be nice.

Salmon, either honey glazed, or spiced with some lemon glaze. A salad with no dressing, and maybe some brown rice.

My ideal dinner, is out on the deck of a great seafood restaurant, watching the sun setting behind the boats docking, and listening to some caribbean music, looking forward to a long night of one on one. Wait, where am I? Anyway, who cares about the food.

My ideal dinner at a restaurant? A medium rare fillet mignon and big chips. At home, some sort of chicken dish with a green salad

Grilling: filet migon, carrots, sweet potato.
Mexican: tacos
Seafood: Salmon or halibut with red potatoes (garlic & dill), green beans.

Red wine all around but beer with Mexican. :D

I must be hungry

Any dinner as long as its with my wife and kids--currently in Kuwait. But if I was to take a stab at it:

Korean based dinner, Bib Bim Bap or Kalbi/BBQ Pork (Korean BBQ). My wife is Korean....so we tear the Korean food up.

Or I could smoke a few butts (pork shoulder) and make Pulled Pork sammies with tater salad and or cole-slaw with a side of Atomic Buffalo Turds.

Chipotle: Steak burrito with hot salsa and cheese, no I said cheese NOT SOUR CREAM.....Damn throw it out! Let's try this again. "would you like Sour cream?"

An entire Papa John's olive pizza, garlic sauce ad libitum, and vanilla coke.

A giant, giant Chipotle burrito with my own smuggled Habenero salsa.

Planked salmon with teriyaki glaze, quinoa with goat cheese, and a crisp beer.

White meat thanksgiving-style turkey, garlic mashed taters, green beans, fresh dinner rolls, a small bit of honey ham, and a giant glass of skim milk.

Indian butter chicken, rice, abundant rotis, mango lassee, and ice water.

Sushi. Tons, and tons of sushi. Warm saki in real clay mugs.

The italian sub sandwiches from the family-owned shop in downtown Downers Grove. So, so good.

Italian beef sandwiches, thick-cut fries, big side salad, and a pepsi.

I should weigh 400 pounds, but I don't. O how I love food, all kinds, all the time, in abundant quantities. I hate myself a little.

Now I'm hungry.

I think what I just made was pretty ideal. Baked chicken in a creamy white wine sauce over a bed of rice served in bed with my future hubby. :)

First, a salad - mixed greens, grape tomatoes, several very, very thin slices of a granny smith apple (unpeeled), dried cranberries, chopped walnuts, bleu cheese crumbles and a sweet raspberry vinaigrette.

Follow that with a ribeye steak, 1 1/2" thick, seared on the outside and rare in the very center, brushed with melted butter and lightly sprinkled with sea salt.

Gently steamed asparagus, with the bottom 1/2 of the stalk trimmed and discarded - served with warm hollandaise sauce and freshly cracked white pepper.

A baked sweet potato, skin and all, served with warm butter stirred in with cinnamon and nutmeg.

And for dessert, a small dish of piping hot peach and white raisin bread pudding, with icing and drizzled with a mixture of melted butter and spiced rum.

A good, medium-rare sirloine steak in a garlic and pepper sauce with marris piper chips. With the remainder of the sauce over the chips.

And a Diam Cake for desert :D.

Or the every day one - bowl of pea's smothered in butter, return of the marris piper chips with chicken breast in a garlic butter and lemon sauce. Chips served with an oven bottom muffin (the real ones).

Lots and lots and lots of ribs. A bit spicy, but not too spicy, you know, just the right amount. Oh and mango milkshakes to top it off.

Chicken wings.
BBQ ribs.
A kobe steak.
Roasted fish.
Pizza with lots of beef, sausage, and roasted veggies.
Mediterranean salad
Prime rib.
Dolsot Bibimbap.
Nachos loaded with cheese, beef, tomatoes, and jalepenos.
Bruschetta with lots of garlic.
Apple pie with ice cream.
A nice cappuccino. :)

Just kidding. I'd never eat the salad.

A nice big prime (or Kobe, even better) cut of filet mignon with a big piece of foie gras on top drizzle lightly with a red wine and shallots reduction. Also, through in some mashed potatoes and asparagus on the side. Serve me a salad first with a light dressing and either a custard tart or a piece of cheesecake after and I'm good. Mmm...

Anything that I enjoy tremendously and that would allow me to pass out face first in a pool of my own emit. You have to love a meal that produces such gorgeous results!

Mexican food but only certain stuff. Tacos, Carnitas, Carne Asada. Fish Tacos. I must try one or all of these in any Mexican establishment I run into, which is often.

Sushi...so much to love there

Lobster, butter, lemon. Crab legs, butter, lemon.

Rib eye, Porterhouse, Prime rib

Hummus and Indian food.

Pizzaaaa

In n Out Burger
