What's your ideal dinner?

Definitely a buffet of all the favorites:
*Chicken fried steak
*General Tso's crispy beef and prawns
*Fried okra
*Biscuits and gravy
*Imo's pizza
*Garlic mashed potatoes
*Biscuits w/ whipped honey butter
*Honey carrots
*McRib sandwich
*Fish and Chips
*Pasta Carbonara
*BBQ Bratwurst
*Gooey Butter Cake
*Rockey Road Icecream

It would be a hodge-podge of the greatest foods from all corners of the world, all washed down with A&W Rootbeer and Yoohoo ... shortly before I experienced a catastrophic heart attack

Best dinner (alone): Minced meat, fried and spiced, mixed with macaroni and lightly covered in Heinz ketchup.

Best dinner (with others): Pork roast with boiled potato and gravy, and some assorted (very lightly steamed) vegetables (Cauliflower, Broccoli, Carrot and/or Rutabaga).

You know, there's another problem with that restaurant. You might be eating some fish's neighbor, best friend, or relative right in front of their eyes. That's exactly why I never sit in a hog pen eating a ham sandwich!

That's only a problem on your side of the pond. Here the legal age is 16 (or 18 for stronger drinks...)

My ideal dinner. Anything nice, with friends of family. Sitting in the setting sun, not caring about cooking/doing the dishes or how we get back.

The legal age here is 16 too and even that is not strongly enforced. Big mistake, if you ask me...

I'm starting to get into real Chinese food (gf is Chinese and cooks a lot for me and her friends), not the stuff you get in a restaraunt. It's actually very tasty and not as weird as I thought it'd be..
