3G iPod for me, bought at the SoHo Store in NY. Still works like a charm, and the battery has only lost a bit of its charge, which is amazing! If a new full screen video iPod comes out, I might buy one, but I'm definitely not in a rush...

My 3G still works flawlessly. :) Looks great too since I always kept it in a case. And still covered by a 4 year Best Buy warranty (or should, anyway)...so I'm not in a big rush myself to replace it till I see the 6G. It's only 10Gb but it's super easy to synch via a playlist with iTunes anyway, and I wouldn't want to have to scroll through all the artists on my full library. Plus it just looks cooler than the current versions (IMO). :D I still haven't gotten used to the more plasticy casing on the 5G iPods.

iMacZealot - as a Keane fan I like your location!

20gb 3G and 512mb HP Shuffle

I've replaced the battery in the 3G and recently bought a case for it, after three years of ownership. I used Scratch Out on it recently and it looks nearly new again. :)

I've had that up for over a year and you're the first person to understand what it means!

My wife and I have:

2 5 GB 1Gs - Still working perfectly - longest battery life of any of my pods other than the 5G

2 40 GB 3Gs - I have replaced the battery on both - working perfectly. I use my 40 mostly as an external drive to take stuff to/from work.

1 60 GB 5Gs - my current pod - what I use most of the time.

Won't be buying any for a long time now - unless Apple comes out with something truly droolworthy.
