EVEN BETTER <333
only then left-handed for me :p
Marshall Stack with it?

Just don't stand too close to it. Feedback. I use JCM 800, 900, and 2000. The guitar I use sometimes is also a semi-hollowbody like the Ibanez pictured here in our punk band. It was hard to fight feedback and we had to turn the amps up being it was outdoors playing right out into the ocean. I so should have used a solidbody, any solidbody. But for lower volumes, a hollowbody is OK with a Marshall. Klaus Meine of the Scorpions does it at modern era high volume rock with a Dot 335.

Anyway the Ibanez pictured is similar in build, with solid centerpiece to the DeLong ES-333. I honestly don't have any idea how I can crank any guitar with hollow cavities/body near a Marshall when on distortion channel.

It's an Alpine White Gibson Les Paul with Gold Hardware. Can't ask for much more except maybe an amp worthy of being attached to it?

For Christmas, I want your present.

In reality, I'm happy enough to enjoy a nice relaxing day with my immediate family as my sister is home for this Christmas. It doesn't get much better than that :) A few thoughtful gifts are always nice but i really don't require anything extravagant.

 Haha, jk

There's nothing I really want or need that I can't afford to buy for myself, so the list posted below is actually what I want to get for other people.

• iPod Touch for my sister
• 12.1MP Canon Powershot 780 and/or a runner's wrist HR monitor for my mom
• Netbook for my brother

I get more excited about giving gifts than I do receiving them. I'm especially excited for this Christmas because I have a little extra money to spend so I can afford to get nicer gifts :)

I totally agree with you. Every Christmas so far, I have had barely any money, so have had to be limiting on the presents I buy for my family. This year, however, what with starting college and all, I am now getting £30 a week from the government to stay in college. I am now able to buy much nicer things for the people I love and in fact have already put myself into a small amount of debt buying presents :p. It's a much greater feeling giving somebody something you know they'll love rather than having to pay beneath a certain amount so that you can afford everybody elses' gifts.

A phonecall from my brother who's in Africa at the moment. I haven't spoken with him for almost two months and whilst emails are great, they're just not the same as having a chat, however brief. :)() Ooh, and some cash to add to my "South America - 2010" travel fund.

Failing that, 'The Wire' boxset will be just dandy! :D

money and frikin truckloads of it carted to my bedroom. so that i can finally get a computer that has the word "core" in the processor name. that and some financing for a car. forget finding a job in this economy.
EDUT: some thing else i thought of. for ppl to stop being d-bags.

i want that red hair girl who is my best girl-friend that i like since high school to like me....:D:p;)

muhahaha

a BMW m3 would be nice.

or a 2010 Mercendez benz E-Class 350 Coupe

Since I'm an old fart now, I don't want stuff...I want decent jobs for me and the boy, and for our families and friends to have health and happiness. I'll take some health and happiness for myself too, because this year has been the hardest and most trying year ever and I deserve a break.

I would also like a real christmas tree...none of this gaudy fake tree business. ;)

when you've had one and after cleaning all the bits off, and still randomly treading on bits you missed 6 months later in bare feat, you'll go back to the fake trees ;)

Oh, I've always had real trees...nothing can ever compare. :) Last christmas we lived in a 3rd floor apartment, so getting a tree in (and back out!) was tiring, but totally worth it. I even spent two hours sweeping dried pine needles off the stairs. :D

And good luck to you, sir. How is that going? I've been thinking of you with regards to that. I know it's tough. Hang in there, you WILL find something.

Not even a call back. I keep looking but it is really bad out there. Construction employment is already shrunk 20% since the start of the rescission and last month shed another 60k worth of jobs.

I can imagine with the housing market the way it is. :( Keep your chin up. You may have to do something else for a while before it comes back.

legalize pot, and have santy claws come and stuff some in my stocking :D till then it's still illegal here so I don't smoke it.

What exactly in construction do you do?

My degree is in Construction Engineer Technology and I got in Dec 2007. Worked for a year then was laid off and still rather bitter about it. Learned the hard way that companies lie straight face to there employees.

That being said the short answer is my experience was in large commercial constuction on a 50 mil job on the project management side. It was entry level for being on the project management side so I review shop drawings, and product data to send to the architect and would make sure order were arriving on time for the field.

a new 17" mbp with similar specs to the new 27 imacs (i7 chip, 8 gigs of RAM and FCS3.. instert Homer simpson drool here)

Nah.

50th Anniv. Gold Strat, if I'm going to be materialistic.

Or perhaps something Mr. Scary, or an Yngwie Strat. I can get the George Lynch Tiger Striped ESP for $400, or the Candy Apple Red Yngwie Strat for $1000 at my local Guitar Center. But I was stupid to pass up the Gold Strat for $500 4 years ago.

Seriously.. my #1 Christmas wish? a child. The wife and I are 0 for 7.
