My current phone is my first Nokia, a 6275i. The UI's a bit slow but it gets the job done.

My dad's just bought a 5800 (which I haven't had a chance to play with yet), I'm potentially interested but I don't think there's a model compatible with my carrier's network.

Sorry to dig up this thread, but I had to post :D

I wasn't a great nokia fan..till I get the E51:

Then as classics I have (all were given to me)

8310-like new, boxed, without problems and with the battery still holding 4days or more

6110- good shape, and the battery still lasts one week!

In the past I had a 6230i but it had some anoying bug in sms box..

When the E52 start to appear maybe I will buy one,it is one hell of a phone, just like the E51 was..

I had a Nokia 3210, multiple Nokia 3310s, two 6230s, a 6230i, a N-Gage, a 6600, and probably a few more I can't remember off the top of my head. At the moment I have a Nokia 5800 that I'm getting rid of.

skinniezinho - was that SMS bug where it would mix different messages together if they where over 160 characters?

The Nokia 6680 was my all-time fav. In Europe it was the first Nokia 3G handset to include a forward-facing camera for video calling. We all know how useful those are. However, it did kick NEC to the curb who had been selling some truly diabolical phones before Nokia caught up.

These days, of course, my Nokia is an iPhone :p

nope, that problem, from what I've read in other forums could be due to your sim card..
My problem was: if I received an sms and click too fast to open it,it would "block" me acess to the sms box..
I upgraded the software of the phone but the bug was still there..then I sold it..

That's what I was told, but I don't think it was a SIM problem since the messages where saved to the phone and they worked fine at first, the problem only occurred when I got another message saved in the phone over 160 characters, then it's just a matter of time before they got mixed up.

The first cell phone I had was a Nokia 5165. The thing was brick. It was clunky and heavy, but it was nearly indestructible. I wish my other phones were that durable. I tend to be pretty hard on phones.

I also had a Nokia 6555i before I got my current phone. It was pretty good, if a bit clunky. The clamshell was also a bit weak, and ended up breaking.

I have a e63...wonderful phone, quite cheap and served me well during the summer when I was working in a place I didn't want to have my iPhone. Things like a BT keyboard support makes it a great mobile workhorse.

I don't know..the person that told me about the problem solved it by reseting the phone about 3times..lol

Motorola Razr-Blue
