Whats your Order Status for your 4S on the Apple Store?

Think it is too soon to tell at the moment. It wouldn't matter if it is shipped, processing or dispatched. Everyone who pre-order early will get it on the 14th. If it arrive early, Fedex or UPS will just hold till release. They can't deliver early.

I ordered from apple and now my status just changed to Preparing for Shipment.

Apparently it's happening based on model type. Seems like Black 16GB versions are moving to the Preparing for Shipment stage already. Seems quicker than last year!

I ordered two 16gb models at 3am and received the order confirmations with delivery by Oct. 14th but the orders still show processing.

2different order numbers on AT&T

Ordered 4s at 5:15am 10/7 on AT&T website after 2hour process.

The confirmation email gave me an order number which when I check thru premier says processing

When going to AT&T and logging in my account and checking order status it shows a different order number and says phone Is backordered

The only common number between the two order numbers is 1967. This is last 4digits of premier order # and first 4digits of AT&T order #.

Anyone have any thoughts??

I made 2 orders, a 16gb and 32gb black 4s, both with applecare+. Both now say preparing for shipment.

My iPhone 32GB (AT&T model) says its prepared for shipment, but my AppleCare+ isn't yet. I ordered from Apple on 10/7 at 11:30am.
