No pre-order strategy for me this year. My 6s plus is working flawlessly. I will wait and pick one up when they get to the stores.

The new phones will be out before late 2018. Apple hasn't gotten this big to screw up a launch that badly. And if it takes that long a Note 8 will be picked up instead. Not worried about it at all. In the end it is just a phone.

ApplePay works on the Apple site, as well as many other sites. You can use your phone (with TouchID) to pay.

Also my MacBook has touch ID
