I tend to change mine almost every month.

The one I have at the moment is a section of the song "El Niagara en Bicicleta" in which the singer is saying in spanish:

"Don't tell me the doctors left
Don't tell me they don't have anesthesia
Don't tell me they drank the rubbing alcohol
and that the thread for stitches
was embroidered into a tablecloth

Don't tell me they lost the forceps,
that the stethoscope is out partying,
that the X-rays melted,
that the serum was already used
to sweeten the coffee"

It gets a good chuckle when it rings when I'm at the hospital. The one I used before this one was the "Theme for MacGyver" :)

Xylophone. I prefer the Old Phone ringtone, but my wife has it as her ringtone so I've picked an alternate.

Anyone else find that as you've gotten older you've had to pass on some good ringtones because you just can't hear them when the phone's in your pocket?

I hate that. :(

THe "new" ringtones aren't audible to me when I have the TV or radio on. It's just blends into all the noise pollution I encounter day-to-day. Give me an electronic sounding ringtone any day so I don't miss calls.

I recorded my office phone ring and turned it into a ringtone.

For my brother I have the opening riff of "Back In Black" and for one of my buddies I have *most of* the guitar solo of "Sympathy For The Devil".

I use the last sounds of "Cold Brains" for my text tone and then for alarms I have clips from "Cold Brains" "Hello Operator" and "Since I've Been Loving You" (the part about working from seven to eleven every night).

The beginning of "Judith" by a perfect circle for my mom and the chorus from "tourniquet" by Marilyn Manson for everyone else.

I have it on vibrate majority of the time, but if it's loud then I have xylophone - used to be old phone till a few months ago.

I know exactly what you mean, I have made maybe 20-30 ringtones and a solid 7-10 were just to quiet...

For some reason the vibrate function is getting harder and harder to feel than my old nokias were back in the day.
