....metrosexual is a term used entirely independent of sexual preference.

You either like chicks, dudes, both, or neither.

For biological reasons among others, I prefer the first.

If Mac user ~ Gay/Lesbian, and PC ~ straight. What's a switcher? What are the implications of Apple's move to "Intel Inside"? And what's the significance of the dropping of the rainbow logo?

As an addition, I don't know if I would be exactly girlfriend material for a straightish guy, there's a few that I would certainly sleep with but I'm still pretty dykey in my expressions/dress/mannerisms (if there is such a thing) so I'm not sure what kind of guy would like a girlfriend that often acts more like a boy than he does?

Is the rumor that more mac users are homosexual thought to be true, among mac users?
Probably among PC users - I recently read a post on another forum (AnandTech probably) where some guy said "I'm not going let any son of mine use a MAC!". Obviously that person has issues about his sexuality.

If you're not interested, why not just read another thread? I don't mean to sound adversarial, but why should everyone stop discussing this topic because you're not interested in it?

This is the community discussion forum, open to any number of topics. And as you can see, there are plenty of people interested.

BTW, gayway was removed because it turned into thousands of aimless chat messages.

If we're looking at the differences in sexual terms, I'll say this much – PCs have floppies, Macs don't. :)

Well, Macs used to have smaller (but more solid?) floppies, but now they have none at all. (If that sentence has a double entendre, I can't imagine what it might be...);)

Interesting. My PowerBook has a slot-load optical drive. Not sure what that means...

That's a very interesting question. On one hand, as a guy, it might be a turn-on thinking that your girlfriend also enjoyed being with another girl, especially if the guy hoped to be involved in the transaction. On the other hand, some guys may find that a little odd.

I would think that if you were truly interested in pursuing a relationship, and were up-front with the guy from the beginning, someone who is as interesting and attractive as you are should have no problems finding someone who was compatible.

Funny story...my parents actually asked me if I was gay when I ran downstairs and told them I ordered my first Mac. I decided not to tell them yes for another year. :D

True. If someone could come up with an external floppy that could be strapped onto the front of my Mac, that would wonderful...

In addition to the above said stuff, wtf is it with All Those Capitalised Words?

lol...you sound kind've like my girlfriend.

She's not "manly" or anything, but she follows and knows way more about sports and things than I do, whereas I'd rather turn of the sports and watch 'The Notebook'...

You know, I haven't selected any of the options because I too think it's no one's business but my own. But that doesn't make me want to kill this thread, nor does it make it any less enjoyable for me to read it.

I'm very tomboyish - have maybe become slightly less so throughout my twenties, but I would still be seen as fairly blokish I reckon. The right guy (I don't mean "the one", I just mean the right one for the situation) won't have a problem. My boyfriend doesn't just not mind, he likes it as who I am. I think I kind of assumed that he was just tolerating it, but he's definitely made a few comments about certain things that he actively likes. I'm also really thankful that I never changed to be more 'acceptable' or feminine or whatever, because a) I would have ended up with someone that I would have to not be myself with forever but b) Liam probably wouldn't have liked me. So it's all good.

I am sorry if this has already been answered, but what in the world is an "ubersexual"?

:-o
