You say people should leave, yet you wait for the release of the app, so which is it?Just leave WhatsApp for what it does best, we don’t need bloatware also the macOS Apple silicon has been in beta for over a year just release it
What made you move? Telegram is not E2EE by default.I moved to telegram and I am satisfied. imessage and telegram do the work!!
That‘s coming soon(ish). It was released on the TestFlight build a few months ago.I want that feature Apple announced in Messages, the one that lets you transcribe voice notes without listening to them... or just blocking voice notes altogether.
Seriously it's such a meme at that point , jist like apple not releasing calculator because it would reflect on how it wasn't present till nowWe need WhatdApp for the iPad and Apple Watch. Where is it?
a feed-style one-way broadcast service coming to the popular chat platform where admins can send text, photos, videos, stickers, and polls to followers.
a directory where channels can be discovered, and you can also get to a channel from an invite link. Admins can decide who can follow their channel and whether they want it to be listed in the directory or not
Because outside of the US, hundreds of millions of iPhone users use it.WhatsApp seriously sucks in many ways and I don't know why I'm seeing news about it on this site.
That's because carriers screwed it all up. WhatsApp gets texts through instantly even if international. In my experience, text across carriers and between Apple and Android can take hours to get delivered, and international ones sometimes never get delivered. So I get free unlimited international texting from my carrier except that it doesn't work. I guess they were busy buying media companies instead of investing in their infrastructure because they knew they could get away with shoddy service. Here in the UK, I know virtually no-one who uses iMessage, including iPhone users, simply because WhatsApp has become the default as it’s cross platform.
Back when WhatsApp had their snafu around monetizing texts, I pushed everyone I knew to Signal and removed WhatsApp. But just like the carriers, Signal proved unreliable. Many times texts would take hours to get delivered. I ended up removing it and going back to WhatsApp.I’d use Signal or Telegram possibly, but about 1/50th of my contact list use them so they’re useless.

AT&T has figured out how to charge me for WhatsApp calls but they can't figure out how to make SMS work? Most have some kind of WIFI connection at home but many don't have good reception to receive an SMS.
What a relief it must be for Vladimir Putin to know that. 🤣Who is hated more than Elan Musk?
Mark Zuckerberg.
