Just installed the WhatsApp beta and it's been updated for the 6 and 6 Plus Screens :D

Are there any other ways out for us to get the beta? When will the app be updated for the public?

Sorry don't quite understand on that. Am just a normal user. Any expected timeframe for the update to be out?

Well WhatsApp has the most sporadic time frames on release dates going.

Last update
- 23rd Sept 2014
- 16th Sept 2014
- 8th Sept 2014
- 17th March 2014
- 12th December 2013
- 9th December 2013
- 2nd December 2013
- 19th August 2013

But it does seem asif the last few weeks they've done an update every 8 or so days... So you never know.

Thanks. Able to show us a screenshot on how the updated app looks on the 6?

Looking good! Do update us if u have any news as to when it would be pushed to the app store!

Is there any chance to get an update where you can "slide to answer" from the notification center or pull down the notification to answer like from the Messages apps? I read that it is something possible for 3rd party apps.

Just hit version 2.11.13.99 so this release potentialy could be the last one of this section, then it moves on to 2.11.14.xx

Current release version is 2.11.12.

Is there anyway to reduce the font size which is ridiculously large?

In the iOS SDK, it states Quick Reply is only available for Messages app, not available as an API for other apps to use.

Quite weird then, thanks for the info... Would they have opened it for some partners only (twitter....) for their 3rd party apps?

Have received word from a beta tester that the next update of whatsapp will be out soon
