Whatsapp causing significant battery drain on iPhone 6

    I agree. I have switched my group notification to OFF within the app but yet it is still receiving updates. The old versions clearly don't do that. Sigh.

    There is a beta available if you're a dev / can sign it.
    Good for 6/6+

    Whatsapp is pretty trash and has been since its inception, really.

    Yea, it causes massive battery drain on my 6 as well. :(

    It's been the top battery drain for me whenever I've looked at the usage.

    Same here, and it's the only non optimized app I have

    Same here with me its second to the home and lock screen which I still don't quite understand why that consumes so much more battery.

    Is it weird that after I stopped using it I feel like I have double the battery life? I NEED A FIX, the thing is, it's not an app that u can replace if u don't like it cause everyone uses it
