Anyone use it? What I hate about it is that it requires a phone to be logged on and does not have all the features of the phone version. It also cannot video chat from the Mac which is why I would prefer using Skype but more people use WhatsApp. Anyone else got any other complaints?

It's kinda obvious that it requires phone to be logged on since WhatsApp uses your phone number. There is no other way to "authenticate" whose "account" it will use.

My only complain at the moment is lack of dark theme for it (or have it changed? I haven't used it for some time on my mac since I mostly use it on my phone and W10 computer).

I use it everyday and it's really great.
I can see & reply to my whatsapps directly from my mac while working.
Works very well.

I also use it on daily basis, but mainly when I'm on my desk while doing some other stuff, however I still prefer the phone version but it isn't that bad. I would say that in EU 95% of people uses whatsapp so...it's a no brainer for many people.

I read somewhere that they are developing an iPAD app which should be nice.
