Whatsapp notification

Hello everyone
When I receive whatsapp message it only goes to the watch and doesn't lit up the iPhone screen as usual....
While I'm using the iPhone the notification won't go to the watch but only to the iPhone
How is it like on yours?

Just like emails, texts etc that is exactly how it should work. It is standard Notification protocol

When you turn off the "on hand" feature (not hand off) the notifications show at the same time on both iPhone and watch

Where is this 'on hand' feature?
If you mean 'wrist detection', then yes, your notifications will then be pushed to both your Watch and iPhone since it longer cares if you're wearing the watch or not.
