iPad WhatsApp on iPad: No option to lock the app?

Hello!
No that we finally have an iPad version of WhatsApp I have instlled it.
But I can not find the option to lock the app with a passcode as present on my iPhone?!
Is it really not there, or am I searching at the wrong place?

PS: I do not have enabled face-id or touch-id on my iPad, could that be the reason?

I have an App Lock option on iPad in the Privacy section in WhatsApp.

It may require Face ID or Touch ID.
