iPhone WhatsApp update - new custom per-chat wallpaper options, is it working for you?

Apparently the newly released update lets you have custom wallpapers for different chats, as well as a load of new wallpaper options... but not for me! Nothing has changed since I installed the update - anyone else seeing the changes?

2 updates later and this still isn't a thing for me... any other WhatsApp iOS users got it working?

Nope! The last 6 whatsapp updates have said that, yet my whatsapp hasn’t changed once! False advertising? I think so.
