Whatsapp with whatsapp

They're always frustratingly slow to update their app. It was exactly the same with iOS 6, although it's a lot worse now because of the system design change.

I've switched to Facebook Messenger now. It's iOS 7 styled and most of my friends are on it. I've only got a few contacts who still use it, mainly my cousins in Singapore (where it's wildly popular).
 
Actually I though about this and googled it an hour ago. There are leaks of the upcoming update for iOS7 (screenshots). An update is definitely in the works. I agree that it is taking too long, they should have prepared it during the beta phase of iOS7 because it's a widely used app.

Can't wait ! I use whatsapp daily and I have iOS 7 since beta1, thats half a year with the "contrast" between the new UI and old UI !

You can use Verizon messages app if you are with that carrier. I am using it on my iPad rMini and it works with all platforms. There is no whatsapp for the iPad. You can port it but it requires some work that I do not want to do.

Trust me it's not going to be released tomorrow. Whatsapp themselves haven't posted anything about the app being rejected. Pretty much just rumors

Sorry to say but in my experience, BBM is a pile of crap. Buggy, slow, freezes, and last week it decided to crash and I lost my contacts (all 4 of them ;)) and chats. Has now been deleted and carrying on with whatsapp and fb messenger.

Really hoping an update comes for whatsapp. Not specifically for design, but for the keyboard glitch that keeps happening.
 
I'm advocating LINE, it pees all over whatsapp anyday, unfortunately it's only majorly popular in Asia (so only my Asian friends are on it right now) but I'm plugging it for the west and hope it gains popularity.

Btw, free calls, and awesomely cute stickers (free) too, and Line Bubble is just as addictive as candy crush!
 
I don't get the popularity of WhatsApp. You can only use it from your Phone - not from a PC or other device. I'm looking at a computer screen most of the day. But only look at my phone from time to time.

Looks like AndreaCervone was wrong / misinformed again ; the weekend is almost over and still no update available.

To be honest, are you surprised that the update didn't come? I'm so sick of waiting...It's December ffs. And when did the first iOS7 beta come out?! They have had SO much time to work on this update.....
