General When APP-thinning using, app will reinstall after restore from iTunes?

As we known, App thinning make transfer apps from ios9 device to iTunes not work anymore. I want to delete some apps very large from iTunes. But I have a question about restore backup.

What if I restore the backup from an old device to new one, but iTunes don't have all of the apps. The device will download the apps that had installed in the device but not in iTunes after sync?

I've done this. iTunes will sync the apps that you have on your computer and download the rest.
