When archiving files into a .zip, is there quality loss?

    For example, if I take an album that's ripped at 320 kbps, archive it all into a .zip using Finder, is there any quality loss?

    No you will not lose any quality. Zipping a file is non-destructive; you get back 100% of what you compressed when you uncompress it.
