Most new products are available to select folks to do reviews. And, they are often given a date before they can release those reviews. Usually a few days before the product is available publicly.

Yup. From other forum members I've heard that Apple store employees didn't even know the rMinis were coming in today.

Only one I've seen so far is AP and that wasn't much of a review. Basically said if you can afford the rMini get it otherwise get a Nexus or Kindle instead.

Because a passing mention in the Air review has turned into gospel and "crippled iPads" for some. It is very annoying, really.
