The comments are rightly deserved when threads about this are created weekly. The effort taken to create a new post about this could have been used reading all of the posts already created about it.

Probably next year +Broadwell +2nd generation 4K drivers (in OS X 10.10).

And with the new USB 3.1 connector, will we have to wait longer or simply do with oddball cables or adapters?

Perhaps a year from now most peripherals will ship with the new port.

I really need a nice display for my MBA too. I might cave in for the LG ultra wide screen one but the thing I like about thunderbolt display is it has a charging cable for the MBA attached to it and nice speakers built in
