When Can We Expect A New Mbp?

I'm planning on getting a MBP for christmas, but I don't want to get it if they bring out a new one the month after; I will be genuinely buggard off!
Is there a possibility they will bring a new one out before christmas? Or should I wait till after xmas?

Likely early 2011 when the second generation of iX CPUs (Sandy Bridge) come. January-February is my guess

As with any of the other dozens of similar threads, an update is expected to be happening in Q1/2011, as that is the timeframe Intel releases a new chipset (see above). If an update happens this year, it most likely will happen until the end of November.

MRoogle is a good tool to search these fora for already existing threads about questions you have. It might be able to answer you quicker than creating a thread.

i am pretty sure one you would buy right now is just as new as one you would buy after christmas.
