i was browsing the iTunes Store on my iPad and noticed a play button next to shows I had purchased, but weren't on my device. I tapped it and now you can stream straight from iTunes without using home sharing!? When did this change!? I longed for this years ago!

    Here's the support kb: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207060

It requires iOS 10 and macOS sierra. You'd think they would have announced this, but they no longer have a page with all the new features of an OS :(

Streaming iTunes video content from the cloud over Wifi has been available for a while. Only the option to stream over cellular as well is new.
