When did we start getting delta updates for apps?

I downloaded an update for Real Racing 2 the other day (when is RR3 coming out?!) and it was tiny, took just a few second! Either my broadband has been upgraded to hundreds of meg, or it was a delta update. What's that about?

Since ios6 beta 🙂 it all depends on developers, some take advantage of it others dont.

Same here got a update for RR2 and it took seconds to update on my i5 and was surprised... Went on the computer and the download was around 400mb...

Ace! Was there a story about this?! I don't remember reading it.

But seriously, where's RR3? 🙁
