I've always felt old. I was the unusually mature child, watching my friends steal from shops and trying to get them to put it back.:D

Where are all the young men dead? In the heart or in the head?

Where did my childhood go?;)

Haven't needed Viagra yet and can still climb several flight of stairs without pain, so I cannot feel that old yet.

Plus, I'd rather have gray hair than half a head of dark youthful looking hair.

I turn 18 in two weeks and I feel like I'm older than hell. I think it's just because I was used to going to school and not having any major responsibilities...

When I realized that the people on MTV are younger than me.

Rihanna is like 4 years younger than me!

Don't worry too much about the responsibilities, it'll cause wrinkles and make your hair fall out quicker. ;)

Which is likely why people start the botox and youth treatment in their teens and early twenties now.

i don't think i've ever been young either, until very recently that is.

as a matter of fact, you might even say that i'm just NOW getting in touch with my inner child. ;)

Few years ago as I was going to a train-station. I cut through an elementary-school, and the kids were out on a recess. One of the 10-year old (or so) kids cursed, and I thought to myself "you know, when I was young, we didn't use language like that...". Few seconds later it dawned on me what I had just thought...

On Sundays I tutor at a community college that I used to attend. Every now and then students will ask me what classes I'm taking, as if I was in school at the moment. I'd say I was finished, and that I remember having classes with some of their teachers 8 years ago. Their eyes would widen like I had just told them that I'm on drugs.

I'm 26. For me, things go downhill after 25 because that's when you know you're closely approaching 30.

Remember the days when Nirvana was in everybody's stereo, or when Third Eye Blind made its hit back in 1997?

If you spend time on archive.org, that may also be a sign of your age.

Sigh, I miss the good old days. :(

I felt rather old when my father hit 60, I still can't quite get my head around that.

On the other hand oftentimes at night I will sit and wonder "when did I become an adult?" I've got the wife, mortgage, job, two kids, and I still don't think of myself as an adult most of the time.

I know that feeling! And with the job I currently have, I am just amazed that they give someone like me the responsibility that I have! I am really not as mature as everyone thinks I am, am I?

Graduating. All the years at college and university are over. Bye bye fun, no money days. Hello semi-fun, money days. Only I'll have to act a little more mature.

I'm 21 now. I've always been scared of getting old, but when I got there it was great. Back when I was 14 I was worried about hitting 21 and couldn't see myself doing anything. Now I'm there I love the freedom. It's funny like that.

My cousin, whom I remember as a baby, just got married and had a kid. That made me feel old. Waking up in the morning makes me feel old. Whenever I complain about teenagers makes me feel old.

Funny, the fact that any day now I'm going to be a father.... that makes me feel young.

EDIT: I'm 27 now... whenever I stop to think "when my daughter is 13, I'll be 40"... that makes me feel old all over again

When your post reminded me about my age.
When TV ads no longer target me as a consumer.
When I look in the mirror and see gray hair.
My responsibilities remind me I'm old...

I complain about them all the time and I'm 23. They do a lot of stupid things. Keep on telling them how it is.

Looking back (waaay back!) I was devistated when I turned 26, because I couldn't get a eurail youth pass any more!

I don't feel old now, and I remember watching Star Trek, and waiting for the previews of the NEW episodes!:p

...not to mention watching the Moon Landing!
