Personally it was when I stopped owning a television, but tbh I kinda miss it, allot of stuff I watched warms my heart when I think of it such as:

my parents are aliens, hey arnold!, the clangers, trap door, aquilla, grange hill and many others.

When it generally became crap.
I did watch Shaun the Sheep though. It was quite good.

IMO that happened when the CBBC channel started, back when it was just what was on BBC1 and ITV it was good.

I think it ended when ALL kids tv programmes HAD to be educational or have some other value than just entertainment.

The BBC went wrong around the time Andi Peters and Ed The Duck were removed from the "broom cupboard".

And ITV went wrong when they started having kids tv during the week.

my sister still watches kids tv. she's 27. don't know why, but it appeals to her. i don't even remember kiddie programing, and i don't really care about tv at all so i don't watch it ever.

I have a 3.5 year old at home now - so I'm watching it again from time to time. Thomas the Train gets old... "What is all this fuss and bother!" "You've caused confusion and delay!"

I used to love Sat Morning cartoons growing up - things just aren't the same and its hard to find Bugs Bunny and the classics these days.

D

I have a weakness for Spongebob.

But I really stopped er... when the shows I liked stopped being aired.

If Hey Arnold was still on, you can be sure I'd watch it.

General I feel the new shows aren't as good...I liked them when they first came out, but they feel like they lost their charm. Or maybe they were never good, but I simply wanted a change. Also Doug was a good show too

When Ant and Dec left SM:TV Live. I used to lie in bed until lunchtime on Saturdays watching Wonkey Donkey and Chums :)

Me too, it was just bizare.

umm it's still on.... and i still watch it... hey arnold is awsome, it's part of thise premium chanell nickalodeon deals, in the high hundreds, that and i still watch boy meets world, saved by the bell, and whatever other cartoons are on, i love cartoons!

They're repeats though they stopped making new ones in 04, nevermind the fact that I don't own a television.

Only around the past year or so. I just don't find it as appealing any more.
New shows are crap and the old ones, I've watched too many times.

I've also found myself less likely to watch TV, favouring to watch digital media but I'd still make sure to tune into certain programs.

Once all the good cartoons ended and turned to junk I stopped watching. I think I overnight hit a phase of, "why am I watching this crap anymore."

I used to love Nickelodeon but there came a point in the mid 90's when it changed to pointless shows. It is a shame to because Nick used to have some quality stuff.

My girlfriend, her mum and aunt went to visit other members of the family a while ago. They shared the same room and at 8 in the morning they woke up to see the Aunt (in her 40s I think) sitting down watching Noddy with a cup of tea.

Shows how old I am.

My idea of great kids' TV was Sesame Street, the Muppet Show, Fraggle Rock, and Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. :)

Also Today's Special and Mr. Dressup for you Canadians.

Red Fraggle was hot.:p

For those Fraggle Rock fans.

In September 2005, it was announced that The Jim Henson Company had begun work on Fraggle Rock: The Movie, with the aim of a release in 2009. The story is said to involve the original Fraggle characters.[1] As of October 2006 this is still current and the BBC reports that the film will be set in the human world with Frank Zappa's son at the helm. [2] As of October 20, 2006; according to Darkhorizons.com: "Henson's company has hired executive producer Ahmet Zappa ("The Monstrous Memoirs of a Mighty McFearless") to write a treatment for the film which will be a full-length live-action musical fantasy starring the underground dwellers who venture out into the human world. Henson Co. co-topper Lisa Henson is producing, whilst Brian Henson will exec produce."

Really kiddy shows I've stopped a long tim ago, but I still watch Spongebob, and other cartoons (fosters, ed, edd, and eddy). Avatar is pretty good too.
