Personally it was when I stopped owning a television, but tbh I kinda miss it, allot of stuff I watched warms my heart when I think of it such as:

my parents are aliens, hey arnold!, the clangers, trap door, aquilla, grange hill and many others.

I remember all of those. Digital TV has killed off a lot of the better stuff, but to be honest, it was also rubbish before digital came along.

Spatz, Pottsworth and Co, Grange Hill, The Lowdown, The Finder, Simon and the Witch, Happy Families, The Riddlers... etc.. ring any bells?

When Saturday morning went from cartoons to Saved by the Bell and Power Rangers clones.... whatever happened to good animated shows?

I've recently been forced back into them via our toddler (I know we're bad parents for letting her watch TV) but she loves Curious George and Pinky Dinky Doo, neither of which I find too bad. As bad as Pinky Dinky Doo sounds it is actually a pretty good show with decent educational value one new word per mini episode and a game session where they go back over parts of the story to encourage comprehension and memory skills (if only the theme song weren't so easy to get stuck in your head... damn them...).
